How does it work?
- Sender visits a participating Western Union Agent location with
cash and Receiver's details, Details of receiver's mobile phone
number, including country code e.g +255 754…… or +255 757……..
- Receiver is notified by SMS of the credit to their account, or
if not registered on M-Pesa, invited to register.
- Receiver will not be charged an additional fee for to access
the service, but rather customers will pay the normal withdrawal
fee when they want to cash out their money.
- It's quick, convenient and reliable.
