With the FREE phone credit transfer offered by Vodacom Tanzania, all Vodacom Prepaid Subscribers may transfer phone credit or airtime from their own account to another Vodacom Prepaid Subscriber

How to transfer credit

Step 1

Enter *141*01* cell phone number to be recharged * phone credit amount # and dial.

E.g: 141*01*075xxxxxxx*3000#) 

Step 2

You will receive an instant message asking you to confirm or cancel your transfer.

This gives you a chance to check the number and airtime amount you are transferring. 

Step 3

  Either dial *141*02# to confirm or *141*03# to cancel

Step 4
  • The Recipient will receive a sms informing him/her that you have recharged him along with the amount and airtime validity date.
  • You will receive a display message and a SMS confirming the transfer along with your new account balance.
