SMS Only Vouchers

Vodacom Tanzania's SMS Only Vouchers are physical prepaid recharge vouchers that enable Vodacom prepaid customers to purchase a bundle of SMS at one given time. Customers have the option of purchasing either a Tsh 1,000 or Tsh 3,000 SMS only voucher from any Vodashop or authorized retail outlet across the country.

The cost of sending an SMS is much cheaper with the use of an SMS voucher in comparison to a traditional airtime recharge voucher. With a Tsh 1000 SMS voucher each SMS costs Tsh 33 whereas with a Tsh 3000 SMS voucher the cost is Tsh 31 for each SMS (VAT excluded)

With a Tsh 1,000 SMS only voucher, customers will get 25 SMS whereas with a Tsh 3,000 voucher they will get 80 SMS, which can be sent to any national mobile network within 30 days from the date of recharge.

To recharge with any of the two SMS vouchers, Vodacom prepaid customers will have to dial *104*PIN# and dial for SWAHILI or *105*PIN# and dial for ENGLISH. And to check SMS balance, dial *102*03# then dial.

Vodacom prepaid customers can also get an SMS bundle of either 25 SMS or 80 SMS via VodaFASTA recharge.

Terms & Conditions
�    Vodacom prepaid customers can not recharge with another SMS voucher if they have not finished all the SMS obtained from the previous SMS voucher
�    SMS obtained from any of the two SMS only voucher, can be sent to any national mobile network within the country only
�    SMS obtained from the SMS voucher should be used within 30 days of recharge. Unused SMS will not be carried over to another 30 days
�    SMS sent to shortcodes (e.g. 15500, 15555, 15777, 15150) are excluded
