Sponsorship of Tanzanian Premier League Soccer

Vodacom's sponsorship of the nations premier league has ushered in a new era in the most popular sport in Tanzania. On January 29, 2002 Vodacom signed a five-year contract with the Football Association of Tanzania (FAT) offering a package of approx. Tshs 280 million for five years.

Besides the sponsorship, Vodacom is set to inject funds in training and youth soccer.
