3. What is the NMB
menu access number?
The number is *155*66# but customer has to first register by
dialing *155*66*123# and follow the given instructions
4. Are there any charges when accessing NMB
USSD menu?
Yes, customer will be charged 18 Tshs every 20 seconds while
accessing the NMB menu
5. Can
customer A recharge customer B (same network) using NMB mobile
banking?
Yes, NMB / Vodacom customer can recharge another Vodacom prepaid
customer by choosing Vodacom menu under pre paid services
6. Can
NMB/Vodacom customer recharge Zain prepaid customer?
Yes, s/he has to choose Zain menu under pre paid services.
7. Can
postpaid customer pay monthly bill via NMB mobile
banking?
No.
8. Can
NMB customer transfer money to other bank customer?
Politely advice customer to call 15566, let the customer know
the charges while calling this number
9. If customer's IN balance finishes in between a
certain transaction, will the transaction stop?
Yes, the transaction will simply be stopped where it ended,
there will be no SMS sent
10. Is NMB call
center 24 hours operational?
(a) Mon - Frid, 7:00am to 8:00pm (b) Sat, 8:00am - 12:00pm (c)
Sun and Public holidays, NOT OPERATIONAL
11. What if
