On the morning of the 15^th of August 2000, at 8.30 Mr. Alphonse Biria walked through our Vodashop doors and ten minutes later made history by becoming the first Vodacom customer in Tanzania.  Our dream became reality.

Ten years down the road Vodacom Tanzania has become the country's leading cellular network, compliments to diligent team-work from Vodacom and our supportive partners and our esteemed customers.
